Teamwork Tuesday--Arina P!!

What do you see when you look at Arina?  Look hard.  Take your time.  Don't worry.  I've got all day.

I see a little girl lost.  Not really understanding why her life is the way it is, perhaps knowing, deep down, in that instinctual part of us that we all have, that it's not quite right.  This isn't quite the way it's supposed to be.

She's so right.

About Arina:

4ymr -13
Date of Birth: May 31, 2006
Gender: Female
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Dark
Nature: Calm
Diagnosis: Down syndrome
This beautiful Arina needs a mama to love her and help he ber all she can be. She has dark hair and dark eyes. She does not have a heart condition, but her medical records indicate she has some kind of bacterial *difference* in her kidneys. She is allergic to eggs, citrus fruit, and red vegetables. Her kidney dysfunction may be a reaction to eating these items. She will need to be seen by a specialist when she gets home. She is also farsighted and will need corrective glasses. But she is SO beautiful and so deserving of a family to call her own!

She has food allergies.  She needs glasses.  These aren't huge obstacles to overcome.  But they are obstacles that she'll never overcome without a family who cares enough to try.

Yes, it is one of the more expensive Regions, with 4 trips.  But you know what?  Arina's got a fund!!  And it's a pretty nifty one at that!!  Arina has $7,300 right now, waiting for her Forever Family for when they come to get her!!  Praise God for wonderful people!!

Are you Arina's family?  Do you have room in your heart and home for a beautiful 6 year old Princess who needs to learn to eat well?

Do you know someone who does?

    Let's get Arina home!!
